The kids idea of an afternoon of fun is to grab their boots and head to a local creek. That couldn’t make me happier.
Fulmer is the fourth dog that we have fostered, and the first one that I have officially gotten adopted (the others were short-term fosters on their way to another home). It’s a little nerve-wracking to be the final deciding vote on if the family is the right match for the dog, that’s for sure. He is off to a home with two older dogs and sixteen acres of property to scavenge about. I think I did right by him.
She had a birthday gift card that she didn’t know about, so I surprised her by swinging by Toys ‘R Us. She wasn’t leaving the store without this bear.
Excellent score at a local used book store – went a long way to filing in some of the gaps in our collection.

Garage sale and flea market season has begun in earnest. These don’t go with anything in my house, nor do I need them, but man, they were gorgeous (and under $20 each!).
Just your typical Friday night.
He had me take a bunch of shots of him airborne, but his favorite is still one I took of him a few years ago, jumping off a dock down the shore.
It must be so hard to have to choose which home a dog that you’ve probably gotten attached to goes to…I can’t even imagine! And yay for all that ice cream. I guess spring is FINALLY here!
