I think this is my current favorite picture. After their Thursday night track meet, she presented me with a few flowers. Those little hands, chipped finger nail polish, and huge heart … I die.
One of the moms in Madeline’s class had one of these candy necklaces for each of the kids in the class. Loved the idea.
On Friday, I had three kids and 9 errands we had to get through. I bribed them with munchkins, and we ended the day with swimming. They did good.
On Friday night, we met up with friends for a night at the Medieval Times. As a congrats on a good year in school sort of fete. Thanks to LivingSocial running a deal on it a few months ago. I heart LivingSocial and Groupon.
Saturday morning and a championship track meet that started at the ultra-early time of 8 am. Ouch.
The best way to get all three of them smiling? Have a cat walk past.
We were out and about today (more on our adventures coming soon), and right before we left to head home, we took a walk through some woods. Madeline was elated when her brother found a snail and bequeathed it to her. Until they both freaked out a bit when it was temporarily lost in the car. It has now been safely relocated to our front garden. Which I am completely ok with.
He’s getting so big you can’t even tell that there are two kids in front of him.
That first pic is darling. Just catching up on your blog. Love your family!
Thanks, Casey! Hope you and your family are enjoying your summer.
I’ve never been to Medieval Times but one of The.Boy’s friends wants to have a bachelor party there….seems vaguely inappropriate.
Love all this summer fun you guys are already having!

No scantily clad women in the show, so I think that’s about perfect!
