Nick was introduced to this game at camp a few weeks ago and loves it. Come to find out, apparently it’s been around forever (over 50 years!). Stratego. Have you heard of it? Can you tell who won when he finally convinced me to play?
A friend introduced us to a new playground over the weekend. My thrill-seeking children were quite happy.
An indoor stable. I didn’t even know such things existed.
Met a friend for dinner at a new restaurant. Madeline emptied her unicorn bank to bring money in her purse because she wanted to pay for dinner. We called it even at three cents.
This fresh bread from the farmer’s market smelled amazing. And I would like nothing more than to slice it, toast it, and top it with a Jersey tomato, a little melted Brie, and a sprinkling of sea salt. After I’m done with my not-eating-carbs phase. Until then, I will live vicariously through Nick, who could easily polish off a loaf in one sitting.
Organic all natural dog treats from the farmer’s market. Rosie is the first dog we’ve ever had that has a penchant for burying bones. And her share of this treat is currently some inches deep in our backyard. Silly dog.
I do believe the resurgence of neon is my new favorite trend. Neon for everyone!
Tomorrow? Rainbow Cake Party!
Tuesday? Merci Chocolates review!
I spotted some neon at The Gap this weekend and intend to go back and buy some! Tis the season, after all!
