I love the looks back that the Instagram in Review gives me. Sometimes it’s hard to believe that this was just last month. And that Thanksgiving is already next month. Time is moving way too fast for my liking, but that’s nothing new. I still just want to freeze everything right now. Stay here for a little while longer.
It’s also fun to look back and see what recurring themes, if any, happened over the course of the month. For September, it looks like it was all about animals and food. We visited animals at a few farms, helped rescued animals find homes, and heaped love on our own animals by way of hikes and naps. Balance. That’s key.
And food. Oh yes, food. From the Waffle House over Labor Day weekend and a few farm visits, to some deliciousness that came out of our kitchen, it was a most awesome food month. That plate of food on the bottom row, last picture…? Only the very best (next to homemade) hummus ever. Like lick-the-bowl good. And as we go trucking along into the holiday season, the food theme is bound to only get better.
The picture of Madeline on the beach giving Nick the fiercest hug ever is, I think, my favorite picture of the month. It is currently the screen saver on my work computer and I love staring at it. Them. Over 400 photos were taken during the month of September. Can’t wait to see what the next month brings.

The beach picture with Nick and Maddie is definitely a great one.

You always inspire me to take more pictures! I’m working on it, and maybe I’ll be able to put together a look back post that will be filled with as much amazinging-ness caught on digital film as you do!
