A friend ordered calf’s liver for dinner last night, and I tried it (first time), and it wasn’t as terrible as I expected.
I first had roasted golden beets on a salad a few years ago, and it was life changing. So you can imagine I was pretty stoked to find them at the farmer’s market today.
Jennie. The cutest bundle of mush with white eyelashes, sloppy black eyeliner, and a heart shaped spot on her inner front arm.
When I saw them sleeping in the same position, it wasn’t going to escape the camera.
That salad looks amazing!
Love all this winter produce! There are still gems to be eaten at this time of year.

What great finds at the farmer’s market! I wish I was able to get over there this weekend since the grocery store just isn’t cutting it with great produce options right now.
