So they say it takes 21 days to form a habit.
Whoever they are.
And they would be right.
So I would hazard a guess that that’s why the Listerine Challenge was suggested for twenty-one days.
And I’m hooked.
Now, 21 days later, what can I tell you?
I can’t tell you if it’s prevented cavities or made my teeth healthier. Because I’m not a dentist. And because I really think that good dental health is a combination of a million things (flossing, brushing teeth regularly, routine dentist check-ups, using quality toothbrushes, the types of food you eat, using mouthwash, and so on…).
But what I can tell you is that, without a doubt, my mouth feels super clean every time I use the Listerine mouthwash. I had to get past the super tingly, almost-makes-you-wince taste (something my six-year-old calls “spicy;” see also Tic-Tacs), but nothing beats the feeling that it gives you.
Everything feels a million times cleaner, which makes you more confident than ever, and your smiles that much bigger.
And. Well. That’s enough for me.
Consider this new habit enforced.
And me a convert.
It’s not too late for you to help Listerine help children in need. For every person who posts a “Swish Selfie” to LISTERINE® Brand’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/listerine), LISTERINE® Brand will make a $5.00 contribution to Oral Health America’s Smiles Across America® program, up to $85,000, toward their goal of connecting 210,000 children with needed oral health services in 2014.
