Last week, the kids and I hit the road for Spring Break. We had a short list of possible destinations and whittled it down from there, for a variety of reasons, and Vermont it was. We pretty much explored every inch of the state. It was a fun road trip and, honestly a great learning experience. Did you know that highway billboards are not allowed in Vermont? I swear they have some of the emptiest highways around … we could travel for fifty miles without seeing another car. Some areas were very remote, but wherever we went, the landscape was nothing short of beautiful, even though it didn’t quite *look* or *feel* like Spring. Today I’m including some pictures we took during the week, and in the months to come, I’ll be sharing about some of the specific places we visited. And tomorrow? A recipe.
