You’ve definitely got to respect what Jessica Alba has done with her career lately. Parlaying her success as a B list actress into using her passions for good? Well, it’s a pretty unbeatable combination. Many of you are probably fairly familiar with her business, The Honest Company, a firm that sells items that are both affordable and eco-friendly, for every area of your life. It grew out of her frustration that she couldn’t find stylish yet environmentally safe options from one singular source that wouldn’t break the bank. Her book takes that and goes one step further.
Inside The Honest Life, you’ll find a wealth of tips, tricks, and perhaps most importantly, exhaustive resource information. As Jessica shares her ideas on a variety of topics from buying produce, finding non-toxic ways to clean your home, and, one of my favorite topics, clean eating (recipes included), the book is written in a way that is like if Jessica is sharing information with one of her girlfriends. Which is awesome. The pictures, also, throughout the book are plentiful and downright gorgeous.
Beyond the book being an educational read, with the way it is set up, it’s a good tome to have on your bookshelf to refer to for various topics as they come up, an ongoing resource, if you will. You’ll find yourself going back to it again and again.

It’s so super that Jessica funneled her fame into something so good! Not as many celebrities do this as ought to!
